Prefilled 2ml tubes contain one large, banded 6mm zirconium satellite and garnet shards. Tubes are ready to use – beads are alcohol washed and heat treated to remove contaminants and render them nuclease and protease free. Sharp edges of the garnet shards make these beads useful for homogenization for tough samples such as skin and plant material . Supplied in packs of 50 tubes. Tubes are suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6 and BeadBlaster 24.
