Garnet shards are acid washed, heat treated and ready to use. Supplied in a 250g bottle. The shards have sharp edges that are useful in homogenization of samples the need shredded. Often combined with the 6mm coated zirconium oxide satellites to aid in homogenization. May be used in Benchmark homogenizers as well as those of other manufacturers. Also available in prefilled 2ml tubes with a 6mm satellite (D1033-30G).
